NEW YEAR TREK ON NEW TRAIL
Let’s kick off the New Year the right way, with a challenging and energizing hike to set the tone for a strong start to 2025! This hike is a little longer than typical at ~5 miles, a perfect start to the New Year!
LOCATION: White Oak Ridge Trail, branched off of the Big Red Trail in the Horine area of Jefferson Memorial Forest. This sweetheart is JMF's newest trail, opened in FALL 2024!

TRAIL DETAILS:
Highlights include stunning views, well-marked paths, and a variety of wildlife. Challenges are minimal elevation changes and occasional mud. Reviewers recommend paying attention to trail splits.
