The LSC originated in 1956 with a few avid snow skiers whose prime interest was to promote the sport. We offer a variety of winter and snow-ski activities, such as NASTAR-type downhill racing, ski weekends, and Western and European ski trips.

Today, we offer a wide range of other year-round social activities, such as Friday Night Happy Hours, boating, camping, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, wine tasting, hiking, house boating, event parties, and organized co-ed leagues for volleyball, softball and bowling. Our membership is a diverse mix of singles, couples and occupations. We are a member of the Ohio Valley Ski council and we support the Special Olympics.
