Steamboat Springs Resort Overview:
Steamboat isn’t just a resort, it’s Ski Town, U.S.A® with a rich history in health & wellness and ranching & agriculture. Steamboat is a community
with a spirit of perseverance and a strong appreciation for its natural surroundings. In fact, they believe that this unique spirit has led Steamboat
to produce more Olympians than any other place in the U.S. (100 and counting!).
Steamboat is suitable for skiers of all levels, with roughly 12-14% of the terrain designed for beginners, and the remaining 86-88% mapped out
for intermediate to advanced skiers. There’s something on the mountain for everyone!
After a day of skiing, you’ll be ready for a stroll down Main Street and a hearty meal (and perhaps a stiff drink) from over 100 bars and restaurants.
But you don’t have to ski to enjoy this trip! Steamboat Springs offers multiple winter activities, so there's something for everyone! Click here to
learn everything you need to know about snowshoeing, fat-tire bike guided tours and rentals, ice skating, scenic gondola rides, and so much more.
For the skiers, there are multiple options for more ways to enjoy your day while skiing. Click here to learn about opportunities such as first tracks,
skiing with a local legend, learning about wildlife while skiing with a Naturalist, or take a mountain tour with one of the Steamboat Ambassadors.
There's even Snowcat Back Country skiing in Steamboat Springs and if we have enough interest, we'll arrange a trip. Everyone will enjoy an
outing to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, and we'll be sure to arrange a group visit.
We'll be staying at Trappeur's Crossing Resort, near the Steamboat Ski Area base. The property is only 50 feet from the base and features four
pools, ten hot tubs, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a business center, on-site services, and a complimentary shuttle service. The condos are just
a 9-minute shuttle ride from town.
If you've never been to Steamboat Springs, you'll notice that this town feels different the minute you arrive. Steamboat has the look and feel of a
real Western town that happens to have a world-class ski resort. There are no gated resort bubbles or artificial villages. Instead you find:
- A real Main Street (Lincoln Avenue)
- Locally owned shops and restaurants
- Ranchers in cowboy hats sitting next to Olympic skiers
- The Yampa River running right through town
- A genuine Western history dating to the 1800s
This is why they call it “Ski Town, U.S.A.” — not just because of skiing, but because the town actually lives and breathes mountain culture
year-round.
Your Package Includes:
~7 Nights lodging at Trappeur's Crossing, located at the base of the Steamboat Ski Base area. Trappeur's is an 8-10 minute walk to the base
of the gondola, and if you'd rather catch a ride, the free shuttle are on a constant loop, passing by Trappeur's every 15 minutes. The
complimentary shuttle service also goes to town, and is just a 9-minute ride to downtown.
~Two-bedroom and four-bedroom condos: All master bedrooms will have a king bed. The other bedrooms will either have two twins or
a queen. Only one bedroom has twin bunkbeds, but we will offer that room at a discount (for two people who agree to share it).
~Bus transportation to/from the airport, with a grocery and liquor stop en route.
~Up to six days of skiing on over 7,300 acres of terrain (IKON passes are sold separately).
~Optional round-trip airfare from SDF to HDN.
~At least one group outing (possibly two) Still working on the details.
~Daily optional lunch meet-ups: We’ll pick a casual spot each day—drop in to swap stories, compare run recommendations, and meet
fellow skiers.
~Après-ski happy hours: Most afternoons we’ll meet up for a casual drink to catch up, unwind and connect with the group.
~And most importantly, we'll have TONS OF FUN and make great memories!

**Please note, if you decide to book a different flight, than the LSC group to Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN),
you must arrive in time to catch the bus to Steamboat. Please understand, the bus is on a tight schedule and
won't be able to wait for skiers arriving on later flights. If arriving later, you will be responsible for your own
transportation to the resort.
**If you arrive on a different flight and miss the group bus to Hayden, no worries, you can easily book a shared or
private shuttle service through Ski Town Transportation or Storm Mountain Express. It is roughly a 30-40 minute ride
from Hayden airport to Trappeur's Crossing. Steamboat Springs is a 3.5+ hour ride from the Denver airport,
so I do not recommend flying into Denver.
I look forward to seeing you all!
